108 smoky quartz gemstone beads are knotted together to create a healing mala. Smoky quartz is said to have grounding and detoxifying effects, and is used for soothing pain of all sorts. An additional guru bead assists with counting and lets you know when you’ve completed one round of prayers. Quartz beads are about 6mm, guru bead is about 8mm.
