Zen Story: Enlightenment

An Emperor asked the old Zen master, “What happens to an enlightened man after death?”
The master replied, “I would not know.”
“But you are a Zen Master!” exclaimed the shocked Emperor.
“Not a dead one!” quipped the old man.
