A pair of small resin dogs seated in the lotus position, eyes closed, paws folded, dressed in softly draped robes with a weathered grey wash. The meditative pose is a gentle nod to stillness, patience, and companionship in practice. Set them side by side on a desk, shelf, or windowsill, or place one in each of two spaces. A thoughtful gift for dog lovers and meditators alike.

Meaning & Intention

A dog seated in meditation is a small joke with a sincere heart: our most loyal, most present companions modeled after the stillness we humans spend a lifetime trying to reach.

The lotus position is one of the oldest postures of devotion, a physical shorthand for a settled mind. Placing it on a familiar, four-legged form makes that settledness feel reachable.

Robed like small monks, the pair also speak to companionship in practice. Meditation is often framed as solitary, yet here it is shared: two seated side by side, each keeping their own stillness while keeping the other company.

The soft grey finish and weathered texture lend a sense of age and permanence, as if they have already sat this way for a long while and will keep doing so.

Together they act as a small visual pause button, an invitation to unclench the shoulders and take one slower breath.

Essence & Elements

Intention: Peace, balance, calm

Ideal for: Dog lovers, meditators, and anyone who wants a touch of calm humor in their space

Suggested mantra: Be still, be here

Symbol: Lotus posture, meditation, companionship in practice

Questions & Guidance

Do the two statues face the same direction?

No. The pair is posed slightly differently, so you can display them facing each other, side by side, or apart in two different spots.

Are the two statues identical?

They share the same meditative theme and finish but sit in slightly different poses, giving the set some natural variety.

Are they heavy or fragile?

Cast resin makes them sturdy for everyday display. Like any decorative piece, handle gently and keep them away from edges where they could fall.

Where do they work best?

Their compact size suits desks, shelves, windowsills, and small tabletops. Place them together for a shared moment of stillness, or apart to mark two calm corners.

Too big

The boxes were much bigger than I thought they would be and seemed to be lacking in the quality I'm used to seeing in your products. I have returned both boxes via UPS and am awaiting my refund.

Understated design, well made

I wanted a simple reminder to take a moment to breathe throughout the day. This ring tells me to do just that. It's solid stainless steel, so it's durable. The embossing (engraving?) is clear and consistent from one letter to the next.
