The Tree of Life represents unity, despite our differences, we are all bound together by the same roots. Lovingly handcrafted by fair trade artisans, this exquisite wall hanging beautifully represents that sentiment. The tree’s branches are filled with creatures and flowers of all kinds, and the tree is flanked by inspirational text: “Where dreams grow wild and beautiful and free.” These words show that when we work together as one, we can make our dreams come true.
Each tree is hand-embroidered by artisans in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India. These artisans practice Kathiawadi embroidery, a traditional style of needlepoint that has existed for hundreds of years. The artisans receive training for their craft as well as benefits like healthcare and loans.
The hanging measures 39 inches long and 39 inches wide and comes with a wooden hanger for easy installation.
