Hand-etched bowls showcase original African artistry! The soapstone used to create these bowls originates from the Tabaka Hills of Western Kenya, where the stone is known as kisii. Artisans from the Kisii highlands mine the stone using hand tools and carve it using traditional methods. The kisii stone can be carved into all sorts of designs.
Replete with a geometric zig-zag and dot pattern, these bowls make an excellent centerpiece. Or, use them to hold anything from meditation malas to jewelry. Available in colors of black-grey (shades may vary), bowls are about 8 inches in diameter and 2 inches high.
