Vaisravana Tibetan Thangka, Made in Nepal

Framed by an ornate brocade fabric, this thangka features Vaisravana. A god of wealth and protector of the North, Vaisravan is often identified by the mongoose in his hand. 

This beautiful thangka was made in Nepal. Each one is truly unique, displaying artistic differences in color and fabric designs. Such variations are signs of the maker’s handmade touch. This banner measures about 16 inches across at the top and about 24 inches long. The hanging’s framed painting measures approximately 8 inches across and 10 inches long.
