This large and ornate singing bowl is inscribed with some of the most significant symbols and inscriptions seen in Buddhism. On the inside there is the Vajra as well as the Eight Auspicious symbols. Both inside and along its outside rim, there is the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, a mantra that translates to “hail to the jewel in the lotus.” This is one of the most widely used mantras.
